RESUMO

Objective:To explore the research hotspot and development trend of ideological and political education of medical courses , analyze the existing problem, and provide a reference for the future development of ideological and political education of medical courses. Methods:The CNKI database was searched for the literature on ideological and political education of medical courses included from 2017 to 2021. Excel and CiteSpace were used for visual analysis of the publication time, publication quantity, main authors, research institutions, keywords, and mutated words of 1 257 articles included in the study. Results:In recent five years, the number of articles on ideological and political education of medical courses was on the rise; Zhao Wenxing, Liu Ruiting, and Yang Hongmei published a relatively large number of papers, while Heze Medical College, Fujian Health College, and Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences published a relatively large number of papers. Keywords with high frequency included "teaching reform, "biochemistry", and "ideological and political education". The keywords with strong mediating centrality included "practical teaching", "ideological and political course", "medical English", and "humanistic quality". The keywords with high mutation intensity included ideological and political education, ideological and political curriculum, and professional quality. Conclusion:The ideological and political education is currently a hotspot of medical education. The current research topics include teaching reform and teaching practice. Clarifying the logic of curriculum ideological and political evaluation and gradually building the evaluation system and mechanism of curriculum ideological and political evaluation will be a hot research topic in the future.

RESUMO

The ideological and political construction of medical courses reveals the educational essence of "truth, goodness, and beauty" in medicine. Scientificity and humanity are the embodiment of "seeking truth" and "advocating goodness" in medicine, and the unity of their content and form reaches the highest level of "advocating beauty". Studying the ideological and political construction of medical courses plays an important role in implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and carrying out the Healthy China initiative. In terms of teaching objectives, the goals of ideological and political education in medical courses should not only include the goals of basic literacy goals, such as political literacy, cultural literacy, legal literacy, and moral cultivation, but also include professional literacy goals, such as medical humanistic cultivation. Thus, a "five in one" model of ideological and political education in medical courses will be established. In the practical path, it is suggested to explore from five aspects that changing the educational concept and strengthening the educational awareness, establishing teaching objectives and clarifying education direction, digging deeply into the ideological and political elements and clearing teaching content, innovating teaching methods and improving teaching effectiveness, and constructing evaluation indicators and evaluating teaching effectiveness scientifically.

RESUMO

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound combined with a nerve stimulator-guided suprapatellar anterior approach to sciatic nerve block in elderly patients undergoing knee arthroscopic surgery. Methods:Seventy American Society of Anesthesiology physical status Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients, aged>65 yr, scheduled for elective knee arthroscopic surgery, were divided into 2 groups ( n=35 each) using a random number table method: suprapatellar anterior approach group (S group) and traditional anterior approach group (T group). Puncture was performed under the guidance of ultrasound and a nerve stimulator in both groups. When dorsiflexion or plantar flexion was induced by stimulation of 0.3 mA current intensity, 0.25% ropivacaine plus 1% lidocaine (0.4 ml/kg) was injected. The success of puncture and block, depth of puncture, time to complete block, duration of block, insufficient analgesia, responses to tourniquet-induced discomfort, and block-related complications were recorded. The patients were followed up for 48 h after operation for the recovery time of foot dorsiflexion on the affected side. Results:Compared with T group, the success rate of puncture and block were significantly increased, the time to complete nerve block was shortened, the incidence of intraoperative insufficient analgesia was reduced ( P<0.05 or 0.01), and no significant change was found in the depth of puncture, duration of block, and recovery time of foot dorsiflexion on the affected side in S group ( P>0.05). No nerve block-related complications were found in the two groups. Conclusion:Ultrasound combined with a nerve stimulator-guided suprapatellar anterior approach to sciatic nerve block can provide satisfactory analgesia for elderly patients undergoing knee arthroscopic surgery with a higher safety.

RESUMO

Laboratory research training is pivotal for the cultivation of biomedical postgraduates. Supervisors' educational and managing skills have great impacts on the quality of their cultivation to postgraduates. Recently, many prominent biomedical experts in stem cell field all over the world fully discussed the way for cultivating biomedical postgraduates, including the educational conception, supervisors' responsibilities and guiding way, etc., they have reached a certain consensus in multiple aspects, such as inspiring students' potential ability, supporting diversified career development and creating a good laboratory atmosphere. Moreover, they shared some ways of guiding with personal characteristic and strong operability. Herein, we reviewed and summarized their viewpoints and comments based on our experiences, expecting to provide useful references for biomedical postgraduates' cultivation in China.

RESUMO

Bioinformatics is an intercross field of biology and computer science. With the develop-ment of computer network information technology and"precision medical care", biomedical field ushered in the era of big data. The demand for bioinformatics knowledge to medical students has shifted from single gene level to the analysis on massive medical data. This paper analyzed the characteristics of the big data era, as well as the problems of the teaching idea, curriculum coverage and teaching platform could not meet the requirements of the new era in teaching of bioinformatics course for medical students. Finally, we pro-posed several measures to strengthen the reform of bioinformatics teaching to meet the challenge of the big data era, including optimizing courses, changing educational philosophy, introducing new teaching methods, and setting up teaching platform with times.

RESUMO

Objective In order to understand the effect of laboratory rotation, improve and streng-then the cultivation of scientific research ability for academic medical postgraduate students . Methods Questionnaire surveys including training content, teaching mode, achievements, necessity, quantity, duration and cultivating approach for scientific research ability were conducted on the 130 students in four grades who joined in the laboratory rotation project. Results A total of 130 questionnaires were sent out, and 130 valid ones were retrieved with the efficient rate of 100%. As shown in the result, postgraduate students con-sidered the learning specific technique (34.9%), directly participating in the research projects (27.9%) and watching the experimental operation ( 21 . 4%) as the main training contents; senior students teaching (39.2%) and advisor teaching (36.1%) as the teaching mode. 58.6%students believed that advisor teaching mode was better; 68.4% students believed that senior students teaching mode was better; 67.7% students thought that the effect of laboratory rotation was good; 60.8% students thought that conducting laboratory rotation could help to cultivate the research ability; 45.4% students suggested the rotation training in three laboratories; 41.5% students thought that the duration of training in each laboratory should be two months. 28.5%students thought that the assessment method should be writing thesis. Conclusion Conducting laboratory rotation is a very effective method for improving the cultivation of scientific research ability for academic medical postgraduate students.
